AG&P Pratham is a leading international player in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) Industry. AG&P Pratham holds 12 CGD licenses, awarded by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, to exclusively develop CGD infrastructure in 37 districts covering 8% of India's land mass and spread across 5 states Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
AG&P Pratham's CGD network will supply Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to domestic households, commercial establishments, industries as well as Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for use in vehicles. Over the next few years, AG&P Pratham's CGD network will comprise of more than 17,000 inch-km of steel pipelines and over 1,500 CNG stations. This network will provide access to natural gas to more than 12 million households.
AG&P Pratham prides itself in employing innovative technologies like Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, Quality & Construction Management (QCM), Global Information System (GIS), Journey Management System (JMS) etc. and bringing internationally acclaimed safety practices to the Indian CGD landscape.
AG&P CGD network uses a hybrid delivery model to supply varied forms of natural gas including Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Bio-gas by transporting them through LNG trucks, CNG Cascades, network of steel and MDPE pipelines to reach its customers efficiently and safely.

We have brought technical expertise and deep energy knowledge to increase employment opportunities in the country. Residents of the Geographical Areas (GA) are being trained in skills of the trade and operational distinction to become a part of our CGD Network.
